Cyber Essentials Accreditation

Target has recently been awarded a cyber essential accreditation. We chose to apply for the accreditation in order to improve our I.T and Data Security. We worked alongside Cyber Essentials and our I.T Support Provider to achieve the accreditation.

So what is Cyber Essentials?

  • Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme, created to help protect our organisation against a range of the most common cyber-attacks.
  • Cyber-attacks can come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals.

Tenant Starter Packs

Here at Target we’ve been busy getting ready for our new tenants at our new project based in Sheffield called Thrive. Staff at Target have been putting together starter packs for our new tenants. These starter packs include food, toiletries and an information pack. These packs will be there to welcome tenants into their new homes.

Lottery Donation

Target has recently been awarded a donation of £9,350.00 from the lottery fund. This money will be used to help connect our service users to external agencies and services through tech, addressing the digital divide as well as providing service users with the access to laptops when they need them.

So much of our general life is now sorted out online.  Purchases, looking for employment, training, keeping in touch with friends and family, booking appointments sorting out benefits, banking, bidding for properties. This funding will help our service users to do all of the above especially during this difficult time.

Targets CEO Shaun Needham reflected on Target at 30 and had this to share;
