Target Housing Launches New Mission Statement and Organisational Values

June 2, 2026

Target Housing is proud to introduce its refreshed mission statement and organisational values, reinforcing the charity’s commitment to delivering high-quality support and empowering people to live independently.

Our new mission statement reflects both who we are and the impact we strive to make every day:

“Target delivers high-quality housing and support that promotes independence, wellbeing, stability, and social inclusion.”

For more than 30 years, Target Housing has supported vulnerable individuals facing homelessness, trauma, mental health challenges, domestic abuse, and other complex needs. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, these updated values help define the culture, behaviours, and principles that guide the way we work.

Our New Organisational Values

Passionate

We bring energy, commitment, and purpose to everything we do, inspiring others through our dedication and drive.

Progressive

We embrace change, innovation, and continuous improvement — always looking for better ways to support and grow.

Responsible

We act with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. We own our actions, our decisions, and the impact we have.

Trauma Informed

We operate with empathy and awareness, understanding the impact of trauma and creating safe, supportive environments for all.

Over the past few months, Target Housing has taken time to reflect on its identity, purpose, and future direction. These refreshed values represent more than just words — they are a shared commitment to colleagues, tenants, partners, and the wider communities we support.

In the coming weeks and months, the new values will become embedded across the organisation, influencing everything from staff induction and training to decision-making, planning, and service delivery.

By strengthening its mission and values, Target Housing continues to build a culture that supports both staff and tenants, while remaining focused on delivering compassionate, person-centred services that create lasting positive change.
