Sharnna Flather – Progression Through Experience and Opportunity

Sharnna Flather is a Team Leader on a project in Doncaster and has been part of Target Housing for 15 months. During that time, her role has evolved quickly — shaped by ambition, experience and a drive to keep learning.

Sharnna began her journey at Target Housing as a Case Worker on the Thrive project, which provides long-term and permanent housing and support for people experiencing multiple disadvantages. In this role, she worked closely with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, gaining invaluable experience supporting people with complex circumstances and diverse personalities.

Through this work, Sharnna realised she wanted to progress further. When the opportunity arose to step into a Team Leader role, she took it — confident that the experiences she had gained would allow her to support both clients and colleagues effectively. Working across so many different situations broadened her horizons and strengthened her ability to lead with understanding, empathy and confidence.
