Over the Christmas period Target staff wore their best Christmas jumper in order to raise money for charity. For every person in our Christmas pictures wearing a festive jumper £5 was donated to each office’s chosen charity.
Money was raised for charities across Yorkshire and the Humber and everyone had a great time getting into the festive spirit!
As well as donating to other charities our TASC service in Sheffield was a recipient of the Sheffield Shoe Box appeal. The appeal started in Sheffield in 2013 and was founded by Kelly Hawley with the aim to ensure that every homeless, vulnerable or socially isolated person receives a gift at Christmas.
We have been recipients of the Homeless Shoe Box Appeal for a number of years now and we are very grateful to be able to ensure that our residents receive a gift at Christmas.
Our staff at various offices prepared a Christmas dinner for our residents to enjoy. Staff cooked and enjoyed food with our service users. Residents thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas meal and suggested we do one every year!
