Evening Support Worker

We offer a salary of £18,375 (Pro Rata) progressing to £19,346 (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period assessment. A vacancy for a Part time Evening Support Worker has arisen at Target Housing, a charity which houses and supports vulnerable clients. The post holder will be based in Rotherham and will be working within the new rough sleeper’s initiative accommodation. The Support Worker will provide essential life skills which will include preparing meals and engaging clients in diversionary activities. The post holder will be expected to clean and set up rooms for new clients.

This position is based on 22.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 4.30pm to 9.00pm. This is initially a temporary contract for 1 year

A vacancy for a full time Housing Support Worker has arisen at Target Housing, a charity which houses and supports offenders and asylum seekers. The post holder will be based in our Sheffield Project and will be working within an accommodation-based project with support services for vulnerable adults, particularly those individuals of an offending background and complex needs.

The Housing Support Worker will provide high quality housing management and support services to clients in order to assist them in sustaining their tenancies, achieving their potential and working towards a crime free lifestyle and independent living.

The post holder will be expected to travel locally on a regular basis. Therefore, a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required. This position is based on 39 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

We are currently looking for a part time keyworker, to provide support to Asylum Seekers accommodated in Derby and Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be based in Derby and will have a good knowledge of the town and its communities. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the issue’s asylum seekers face, experience of working with vulnerable people. Day to day the work will include helping people to move into and manage their accommodation, connecting them with local services and inspecting properties. Due to the nature of the asylum process the role also demands a substantial amount of flexibility.
