  • Bank Support Worker

Location:             Across our offices in South Yorkshire (Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster)

Hours:                  As and when required by Target Housing – Over 7 days – days and hours to suit. This role is also suitable for a P/T worker who would like to take on some additional hours.

Salary:                  £19,926 pro-rata

Overview – Target Housing is a Registered Social Landlord, providing supported accommodation across South Yorkshire and Humberside. We support around 1500 people at any given time to increase their independence, maintain their accommodation and achieve their potential. Over the past 30 years we have shown that stable accommodation and support can help transform lives and empower people to achieve independence.

Job role – The focus of this role is to provide cover for support staff who are based in South Yorkshire. The role is within accommodation-based projects with support services for vulnerable adults, particularly those individuals of an offending background and complex needs. The Support Worker will provide high quality housing management and support services to clients in order to assist them in sustaining their tenancies, achieving their potential and working towards independent living.

Required Experience

Experience of providing support to vulnerable people in a housing environment.

In-depth and up to date knowledge of Welfare Benefits System

An understanding of the Judiciary System in the UK

Experience in risk assessment and support planning

You will be organised and personable and able to work with a wide range of people

Full UK driving licence and access to a road worthy vehicle
