AST Support Worker – Hull (Full time 39 hours)

We offer a salary of £18,375 (pro-rata) progressing to £19,346 (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period assessment. A further increase after 1 year of service to £20,428 (pro rata). Other benefits include membership of the Westfield healthcare scheme; 28 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.

A vacancy for a Support Worker has arisen at Target Housing, a charity which houses and vulnerable adults and families. The postholder will provide high quality housing management and support services to clients in order to assist them in sustaining their tenancies.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with vulnerable and marginalised groups in a community based project, will enjoy networking/multi-agency work and working knowledge

of the benefits and housing system will be beneficial.

The postholder will be expected to travel locally on a regular basis. Therefore, a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is desirable. This is a permanent position based on 39 hours per week.

A full UK driver’s licence is required.

Maintenance Operative: Hull

Target Housing is a charity and registered social landlord. Over the past 25 years we have shown that stable accommodation and support can help transform lives and empower people to achieve independence. Our organisation is continually growing and we are seeking a Maintenance Operative to work within our Hull Team.

We offer a salary of £18,375 Per annum. Benefits include 28 days annual leave, Westfield healthcare, Pension Scheme and a company vehicle.

The main responsibility of the role is to carry out repairs and maintain Target Housing properties and grounds.

Person specification of the role: Ability to meet physical demands of the role, Experience of Joinery and other Maintenance Skills, Experience of Garden Maintenance, Experience of Painting and Decorating, Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing role, Ability to work constructively within a team, Willingness and ability to undertake health & safety qualification

A full driving licence is essential
