Housing Support Assistant, Hull

We are currently seeking a Housing Support Assistant to help vulnerable residents maintain their tenancies. This includes helping them move into their accommodation, advising on budgeting and ensuring they comply with their tenancy agreements. The postholder will also be expected to carry out regular risk assessments and maintain computerised records, for which full training will be given.
We welcome applications from people with experience in a care or supported housing setting and are equally keen to hear from applicants dedicated to working with vulnerable people and looking to start a career in this area.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving License
The position is full time (39hr/week), permanent and will be based at our offices in Charles Street, Hull. They will be subject to a full DBS check and a six month probationary period.

EU Tenancy Support Worker
The project will be run by Target Housing, a charity and registered social landlord with more than 25 years’ experience of delivering accommodation and support to vulnerable people. The project is funded through the ‘Big Lottery’ and the post will be based at our Hull office.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the issues affecting EU migrant communities, a basic knowledge of welfare benefits and support planning.
The role involves outreach work and therefore a full UK Driver’s Licence is required and use of your own vehicle is essential which you will receive 45p a mile allowance. All posts are full-time based on 39 hours per week. Hours of work are flexible to accommodate the needs of the business and its clients. Offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory criminal records check and references. The salary for this position is £17,000.
