Housing Support Worker –Sheffield

Target Housing is a social housing provider and charity which provides accommodation and support to vulnerable people.  We are successful in recently winning the Sheffield and Doncaster Contract for Offenders, along with all our projects in Rotherham, Hull and East Midlands.

A vacancy for a full time Housing Support Worker has arisen at Target Housing, a charity which houses and supports offenders and asylum seekers. The post holder will be based in our Sheffield Project and will be working within an accommodation based project with support services for vulnerable adults, particularly those individuals of an offending background and complex needs.

The Housing Support Worker will provide high quality housing management and support services to clients in order to assist them in sustaining their tenancies, achieving their potential and working towards a crime free lifestyle and independent living.

The post holder will be expected to travel locally on a regular basis. Therefore, a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required.  This position is based on 39 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

We offer a salary of £18,425 (pro rata) progressing to £18,940 (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period assessment. Further increases after 1 year of service £19,970 and after 2 years £21,012. Other benefits include membership of the Westfield healthcare scheme; 28 days annual leave (pro rata) plus statutory bank holidays.  Offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory criminal records check and references.

Property Services Keyworker –Hull/Grimsby

 Target Housing is a social housing provider and charity which provides accommodation and support to vulnerable people.  We are successful in recently winning the Sheffield and Doncaster Contract for Offenders, along with all our projects in Rotherham, Hull and East Midlands.

We are currently looking for a full time keyworker, to provide support to Asylum Seekers accommodated in Hull and Grimsby.

The ideal candidate will be based in Hull or Grimsby and will have a good knowledge of the town and its communities. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the issues asylum seekers face, experience of working with vulnerable people. Day to day the work will include helping people to move into and manage their accommodation, connecting them with local services and inspecting properties. Due to the nature of the asylum process the role also demands a substantial amount of flexibility.

A full UK driver’s licence is required. Benefits include 28 days annual leave and bank holidays, a company pension scheme and Westfield Health cover.

Offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory criminal records check and references. The starting salary for this position is £17,500, £18,525 after 6 months, rising to £19,455 after a further year.

Cleaner- South Yorkshire

A vacancy has arisen for an Office Cleaner for our South Yorkshire offices.

The post is 8 hours per week; 7am till 9am or 5pm till 7pm.

Property Services Assistant’s – Doncaster

2 Property Services Assistant posts have arisen to work in Doncaster and be part of our Maintenance Team. The role will include Property Set up; Cleaning, Moving Furniture & Waste Removals.

A vehicle, equipment and PPE will be provided along with any training necessary.

Offer of employment is subject to satisfactory references, DBS checks and a full clean driving licence.
