Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Services
About Target’s MH & LD Project
By combining the skills, experience and resources from both organisations Target’s Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Project aims to deliver high quality, person centred support and accommodation to support growth towards independence. We work in line with our ethos of ‘giving a chance’ to those individuals who may have had difficulty maintaining a tenancy or engaging in support elsewhere.
We provide both long term and short term accommodation in either shared houses or one bedroom flats that are fully furnished. Support will be arranged through the Mental health recovery framework or the Learning disability supported living framework and will be centred around maintaining tenancy and promoting independent living skills’ As well as receiving one on one support, service users have the opportunity to participate in group activities such as gardening group, curry night, snooker tournaments, day trips and overnight seaside breaks.
