New domestic abuse pilot scheme

Sheffield has been awarded £67,336 of the Government’s £16.6m national fund. The funding pot has been made available to local authorities to bid for specialist help and housing provision for those affected by domestic abuse. The accommodation will include safety features and will be provided and managed by Target Housing. Residents will have access to the help they need from Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) who currently provide specialist domestic abuse services in Sheffield.

Rotherham Housing First scheme run in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing and Target,  has been praised in the local media! The scheme launched at the beginning of April works by giving homeless people homes straight away where the home is theirs for as long as they need it.

Frontline Networking Event Success!

On Friday 10th November 2017 Target and St Martins 5th Networking Event was held at the Unity Centre in Rotherham.
